The modern world is filled with large masses of information that relate to many aspects of our lives, and when converted to digital form, it becomes terabytes of data. Who knows how to analyze this data is an artist who can get information from an arbitrary unstructured set of numbers that makes sense and makes it possible to make informed decisions.
